At Blu Cat Red Dog we digitize images for embroidery. Thus we sell our services, in the form of ready made design digitizations.
These designs can be broken down into 3 types , in relation to the design ownership , and your rights to reproduction :
BLUCATREDDOG ORIGINAL DESIGNS are created from our own original artwork. Purchasing one of these designs entitles you to stitch the design on items for sale up to a maximum of 5,000 times. For larger runs , please contact us for a commercial license.
ROYALTY FREE CLIPART DESIGNS are created from clipart freely available across the web. In many cases we have made small changes to the images in order to make them more suitable for embroidery. Since we don’t own a license for these images , we cannot grant you a license for their use. But it is our understanding that these images also are available to be stitched on products for sale up to a reasonable number of times.
3RD PARTY COPYRIGHTED DESIGNS are copyright protected by their corporate owners .
Therefore, to purchase and download these design digitizations, you must agree to the Terms of Use under which they are being sold . Specifically , you agree that the designs you download will be used for non-commercial purposes without infringing on the rights of the copyright / trademark holder and in compliance with the DMCA act of 1998.
Before you use or reproduce this design in any manner, you agree to obtain the express permission of the copyright / trademark holder. Failure to obtain such permission is a violation of international copyright and trademark laws and may be subject to financial and criminal penalties.
